Many parents are gearing up for Back to School 2023, and there's plenty of amazing deals from Irish shops on uniforms and stationery on offer.

The cost of living crisis is continuing to affect parents budgets heading into September, but there are a number of cost effective options on offer. Penneys has recently slashed its prices on kids clothes from the end of July.

For instance, a Penneys outfit consisting of a long-sleeved t-shirt, leggings and zip through hoodie can be picked up for €10.10 compared to €13 in Autumn/Winter 2022. Meanwhile, a baby outfit comprising of a sweatshirt and joggers will now cost €5.60 as opposed to €8.

Back To School range 2023-2024 from Dunnes is now available in stores and online. Dunnes is currently offering deals on shirts, jumpers, pleated skirts, trousers, and polos for all sizes up until 16 years of age.

The Irish retailer currently has over 120 items on sale this year, with prices starting from just €3.75 to €8for Cotton Blend Jumpers. Pleated skirts are just €4.50, while the Easy Care Short-Sleeved Blouses pack of three, ages 4-16 years, are just €5.50 to €16.

On sport's days, there's the Fleece Crew Neck Sweatshirt from €3.75 and Fleece Joggers from €5, which will suit both girls and boys. And one of the best deals so far from Dunnes is a 3-pack play-proof polos from just €5.

Lidl has announced some great back-to-school discounts, with a wide range of high-quality school uniforms to suit all budgets with prices as low as €2.

There's a fantastic uniform bundle from €6 which includes the options of school trousers, a pack of two polo shirts, and a school sweatshirt. All uniforms are available in a wide range of colours such as white, blue, black, grey, and red and sizes ranging from 4 to 12 years old and are made by the Cotton Made in Africa Initiative.

Retail giant Aldi has launched its official Back to School Uniform Bundle for just €6.

As part of its 2023-2024 bundle, there's two polo shirts, one sweatshirt and a choice of trousers or skirt, all for just €6. Available in a choice of colours and sizes 4 -12 years, Aldi said their uniforms are durable and designed to withstand everything life might throw at your little ones in the classroom and playground.
